Job summary

Congruex is seeking an Engineer I–III level designer to craft cost-effective OSP/ISP work prints for telecom projects. You will identify access points, design aerial/underground routes, and ensure alignment with client deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include creating drawings, coordinating with field teams, and maintaining project documentation. STEM background and telecom understanding preferred; some site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Field experience preferred.
• Knowledge & experience in telecommunications, outside plant engineering design or field inspection, and/or network construction.
• Knowledge of fiber networking, routing, and network management.
• Understanding of various broadband network designs and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Produce cost-effective engineered design for construction to place, splice, install and maintain.
• Identify fiber/copper paths and design aerial/underground routes.
• Attach fiber/copper cables to poles and place cables in underground environments.
• Engineer in public right of way and on private property.
• Initiate internal work orders to complete projects.
• Update tracking systems for project status and third-party management.
• Communicate issues to management before critical status.
• Maintain accurate project files and ensure data integrity.
• Meet or exceed quality standards and on-time delivery.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
