Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer to design, plan, and engineer advanced fiber optic deployments across markets. You will oversee construction, ensure on-time delivery, and design OSP fiber routes aligned with standards.

You will manage contractors and vendors, review scopes and budgets, develop drawings, perform capacity planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OSP fiber construction, telecom, or network deployment.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and construction activities.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground fiber deployment practices.
• Understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and construction processes.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• 3+ years of OSP engineering or fiber network design experience.
• Experience designing FTTH, FTTX, Metro, or Backbone Fiber networks.
• Knowledge of fiber routing, allocation, and splicing concepts.
• Understanding of aerial and underground network design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities
