Job summary

Ziply Fiber is hiring for a Construction Project Administrator to oversee outside plant (OSP) construction work and inspect contractor performance within the ZIPly region. You will ensure adherence to cost, timeline, and quality standards for customers.

The role requires field inspections, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement of processes and software tools, with interaction across Engineering, auditing, and municipal coordination. A strong focus on safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in outside plant (OSP) construction and/or OSP engineering.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screening.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground inspections and contractor audits per NESC and Ziply standards.
• Dispatch work to contract inspectors and assist with complex issues.
• Develop and implement new processes and field software for NESC inspections and corrections.
• Coordinate with municipalities on permitting, traffic control, and community impact.
• Support billing, project workflow databases, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
