Job summary

WAVSYS in the United States seeks an experienced OSP construction inspector to ensure compliance with project specs, design standards, and regulatory requirements. The role requires 3+ years in OSP inspection, fiber optic familiarity, and strong analytical and communication skills, plus proficiency with inspection tools and testing instruments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in OSP construction inspection, preferably in telecommunications.
• Thorough knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with fiber optic network components, installation techniques, and testing procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to identify and resolve construction issues.
• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, including measurement devices and testing instruments.
• Certifications such as BICSI OSP Technician or equivalent are desirable.
