Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company seeks an Off-Site Manufacturing Project Engineer Intern in Portland, OR. You will assist the team with coordinating OSM applications, site logistics, scheduling, BIM/VDC, and quality control.

The role involves reviewing construction documents, preparing minutes and activity checklists, and supporting submittals, RFIs, and field coordination with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with design and construction documents is desired.
• Familiar with CSI specification system for construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in coordinating between submittals and RFI processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with coordination, planning, and documentation.
• Publish meeting minutes, schedules, and checklists.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change documents.
• Assist field staff with site surveys and model integration.
• Support BIM/VDC, scheduling, and quality control tasks.
