Job summary

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an experienced OSINT Analyst to leverage publicly available information and deliver all-source analytic products in support of defense intelligence.

The successful candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph, possess a master's degree, and demonstrate extensive experience in open-source analysis and international language proficiencies. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of OSINT experience with recent activity within the last two (2) years.
  • Master's degree in an OSINT-related field.
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Willingness to travel in support of U.S. Southern Commands missions.
  • Experience with open-source materials and all-source analytic production.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and communicate complex information.
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful products for defense intelligence.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts all-source analytic production on sources and products of information from public, private, and government open source materials.
  • Analyzes foreign and domestic publicly available information to identify trends and insights for defense intelligence requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

***This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.***

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an OSINT Analyst to leverage publicly available information and provide all source analytic products in support of defense intelligence.

OSINT Analyst - Senior Responsibilities Include
  • Conducts all-source analytic production on sources and products of information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open source materials within established security protocols.
  • Analyzes foreign and domestic based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
OSINT Analyst - Senior Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities Requested
  • Desired to have a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience related to the OSINT Analyst role with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
  • Desired to have a master's degree in an area related to the OSINT Analyst position.
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Spanish, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, or Russian, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, and Middle Eastern Languages.
  • Participate in partner nation engagements.
  • Ability to travel in support of U.S. Southern Commands missions.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the OSINT Analyst activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
