Job summary

BTS Software Solutions in Quantico, VA seeks an OSINT Analyst (MID) to conduct open-source research for government RFIs, exploiting NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and SCINet systems. You will mentor Marines, develop OSINT tradecraft, and produce concise OSINT reports (OSIRs).

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a related Bachelor's degree (or 12 years substituting for degree), and capability to work semi-independently with strong communication skills. DLPT language capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of OSINT analysis experience, with some recent work in last 2 years.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; 8 extra years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.
• Knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
• Ability to produce concise analytic reports using MS Office and other formats.
• Strong grammar and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop structured research and maintain information within security data protocols.
• Experience with structured analytic techniques and bias mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OSINT activities to respond to RFIs and government taskings.
• Populate and maintain databases in collaboration with Data Analysts/Data Scientists.
• Document data types and structures; analyze and mine data for patterns and correlations.
• Assist OSINT Team in evaluating COTS tools.
• Develop data reports and OSINT tradecraft; create OSIRs.
• Mentor Marines in OSINT tradecraft and courses.
• Translate and summarize foreign-language sources into English.
• Lead teams researching multifaceted problems and defend analytic conclusions.
