Job summary

The Bison Group, LLC is seeking an OSINT Analyst to support national security missions in Virginia. You will collect, analyze, and report open-source information to support Marine Corps, DoD, and national security objectives. TS/SCI clearance and 1–3 years OSINT experience required.

You will develop OSINT tradecraft, create OSIRs, and brief findings to diverse consumers using Word and PowerPoint. A joint-accredited OSINT course is preferred along with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Completed joint-accredited OSINT course (examples include EOSINT, OS301/OS302, ONI OSINT Fundamentals).
• Commercial OSINT courses such as CASO or SEC 497/SEC 587 are acceptable.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Populate and maintain databases in support of Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Document data types and structures; identify patterns and correlations.
• Use MA software and assess tradecraft limitations while collecting OSINT.
• Combine data from tools to deliver higher-value analytical results.
• Develop and formalize new OSINT tradecraft and SOPs.
• Create OSINT research strategies to fill information gaps.
• Manually search diverse open sources in target language and analyze results.
• Evaluate authenticity and currency of online information.
• Create Word/PowerPoint reports; generate OSIRs.
• Brief findings and methods verbally to various consumers.
