We are seeking a highly experienced OSI PI Historian Data Architect and Project Manager to lead a critical manufacturing systems data integration project for a major life sciences facility. This role will bridge the gap between automation, data architecture, and project execution within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Job Title: OSI PI Historian Data Architect | Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – Indiana, USA

Duration: Full-time, Long-term Project

Travel: Minimum 1 week/month onsite during design phase; full-time onsite during commissioning phase

We are seeking a highly experienced OSI PI Historian Data Architect and Project Manager to lead a critical manufacturing systems data integration project for a major life sciences facility. This role will bridge the gap between automation, data architecture, and project execution within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of data architectures and models for systems like OSI PI, DCS, MES, and Labs.
• Develop specifications, scopes, and delivery models for data integration projects.
• Manage system integrators and ensure alignment with project schedules and architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, digital, and MES teams.
• Define process and asset templates, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Support integration of OSI PI with OT and automation systems.
• Respond to technical queries and assist in testing strategy development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in data management within regulated manufacturing (pharma/API preferred).
• 6+ years hands-on with Aveva OSI PI (infrastructure, Asset Framework, PI Vision, etc.).
• Experience integrating OSI PI with automation (e.g., DeltaV, Rockwell) and OT systems (e.g., KepserverEx, MQTT).
• Alarm management systems experience (e.g., Logmate).
• Prior experience with large pharmaceutical automation projects.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance.

Note: This role requires a hands-on leader who understands both the technical and project management sides of complex, multi-system data environments in life sciences manufacturing.
