What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and lead tasks associated with energy projects, including developing proposals, executing project tasks, and managing budgets
- Direct and oversee energy facility siting/routing, permitting, environmental field surveys, and public outreach
- Prepare conditional use, land use, right-of-way, and other local jurisdictional permitting efforts
- Represent clients before regulatory agencies and make presentations in public meetings for project approvals
- Research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to assess project permitting feasibility

What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years related consulting experience, including managing technical teams and project management
- Experience with resources and regulatory agencies in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and/or Utah
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience in electrical transmission siting, routing, and permitting
- High level of project experience in Arizona, including familiarity with state ASLD right-of-way process and CEC process
