Job summary

North American Stainless is seeking a Safety Administrator responsible for administering health and safety policies and guiding OSHA compliance. You will develop trainings, manage the daily/weekly safety reports, and support ISO 45001 and Workers' Compensation programs.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, solid computer abilities, and a professional approach to maintaining confidential information. A BS in EHS or 3–5 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety preferred or 3–5 years industry experience.
• Strong understanding of OSHA 1904 preferred.
• OSHA auditing experience and training experience would be preferred.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong computer skills.
• Must be professional and able to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Administer NAS safety policies and ensure policies and procedures are accurate and current.
• Develop trainings for the plant to train employees on policies and procedures.
• Coordinate training for safety coordinators, leads, supervisors and managers.
• Develop and maintain site Toolbox Talks.
• Maintain and distribute the daily/weekly safety report.
• Provide guidance on OSHA compliance questions or issues.
• Assist with administration of safety systems and ISO 45001 program.
• Maintain Workers' Compensation program including claims tracking and light duty program.
• Maintain OSHA log and schedule Audiograms/Respirator testing.
• Schedule and maintain Medical Surveillance documentation and surveillance programs.
• Assist with continuous improvement of KPI's, audit tools, and trainings.
