Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate the forklift for stacking, loading trailers, and moving material throughout the facility. You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections and follow all safety policies to minimize downtime.

The role requires OSHA forklift certification, a minimum of 1 year of related experience, and strong time-management and customer-service skills to support efficient warehouse operations and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass OSHA forklift certification as set forth in 29 CFR 1910.178.
• Experience working in environments with safety standards and customer service expectations.
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Ability to adhere to work schedules and follow through on challenges.
• Adherence to company policies and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of forklift and equipment.
• Reports to shift supervisor for daily work assignments.
• Load trailers safely and efficiently.
• Organize material in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with supervisor to empty full containers and trash bins.
• Monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
