Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Safety Manager for its Denver, CO operation to provide site safety leadership on assigned projects. You will implement safety standards, lead training, assist with preconstruction safety planning, and conduct audits and incident investigations to keep projects safe and compliant.

With 3+ years in construction safety and OSHA 30 certification, you will guide project teams, foster a culture of safety, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Additional safety certifications preferred.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead site safety programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating the project safety plan.
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify adherence to safety management processes.
• Assist teams with enforcement of safety programs.
• Facilitate project safety committees.
• Conduct or facilitate project-wide safety training.
• Coordinate and communicate site safety activities with the Project Manager.
• Support regulatory safety compliance and OSHA audits.
• Investigate incidents and document findings.
