Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Safety Manager in Denver, CO to provide site safety leadership for assigned projects. You will implement safety standards, lead trainings, support preconstruction safety planning, and conduct jobsite audits and incident investigations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction safety with OSHA 30 and additional safety certifications; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Additional Safety certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project safety plan formation and oversight.
• Track and trend safety performance; recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety management processes across the project team.
• Draft safety communications and issue safety violations when needed.
• Facilitate project safety committees and preconstruction safety planning.
• Deliver project-wide safety training and regulatory compliance support.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on safety activities and audits.
• Oversee site safety inspections and incident investigations.
