West Fraser is seeking a Production Technician to operate OSB manufacturing equipment and forklifts, ensuring safe, efficient product flow. You will participate in preventive maintenance, team collaboration, and daily recordkeeping to support plant productivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment that produces OSB.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment to manage product flow.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and clean-up on equipment.
• Work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Problem solve and troubleshoot equipment and issues regularly.
• Involvement in ongoing process improvement in the work area.
• Complete shift paperwork and recordkeeping.
• Attend team meetings and regular training sessions.
• Comply with all safety standards and protocols.
