Job summary

Corelle Brands in Corning, NY is seeking an OS Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice with 8000 hours exposure to maintain plant equipment. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and working with high/low voltage systems in a fast-paced factory environment.

Expect to participate in a wide range of maintenance tasks, read blueprints, and collaborate with a team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Holds a GED or High School diploma.
• Experience in a 24/7 union manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Experience with vendor management and capital project finances.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and be highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant equipment per blueprints and instructions.
• Operates a range of diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot and repair.
• Align belts, repair instrumentation, and set up replacement parts as needed.
• Provide cross-training and support for other skills within the team.
