Responsibilities

• Teach small-group language arts, math, and executive functioning sessions.
• Provide explicit instruction using Orton-Gillingham and research-based strategies.
• Support reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression.
• Instruct in executive functioning: organization, planning, time management, self-monitoring.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and families to set goals and monitor progress.
• Communicate student progress regularly to parents and teams.
• Coordinate with Kairos faculty and school staff to align strategies.
• Create an engaging, structured learning environment that supports diverse learners.
