Job summary

Hanger, a leading provider of orthotic and prosthetic services, seeks a Clinical Aide to support certified clinicians in delivering patient care. You will assist with treatment setup, fabricate and modify devices, and manage inventory under direct supervision, ensuring accuracy in documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year in a patient-facing role, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient facing role.
• Preference for allied health professionals (PTA, OTA, Athletic trainer, etc.).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care services under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures.
• Perform technical fabrication tasks, including making and modifying molds.
• Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by the supervising clinician.
• Fit and provide soft goods items to patients.
• Provide alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as needed.
• Provide orthotics fitting services independently.
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care provided.
• Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician.
• Ensure all patient procedures comply with clinical protocols and standards.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory monitoring of prosthetic and orthotic materials.
• Contact and coordinate with vendors to order necessary materials and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and Medicare regulations; OSHA requirements.
