Job summary

The Clinical Aide at Hanger, Inc. supports certified clinicians in delivering orthotic and prosthetic patient care under direct supervision.

You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with procedures, and perform technical fabrication tasks like making and modifying molds while ensuring accuracy and safety. You will also document care, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors to maintain supplies, contributing to compliant workflows and positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient facing role.
• If licensed in a related allied health profession, indirect supervision is possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures.
• Perform technical fabrication tasks, including making and modifying molds.
• Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by supervising clinician.
• Fit and provide soft goods items to patients.
• Provide alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as needed.
• Provide orthotics fitting services independently.
• Assist with selected patient follow-up care under clinician direction.
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care provided.
• Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician.
• Ensure all patient procedures comply with clinical protocols and standards.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory monitoring of prosthetic and orthotic materials.
• Coordinate with vendors to order necessary materials and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment.
