Job summary

Foot Levelers in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Medical Device Assembler to join our lab production team. You will assemble high-quality orthotics using light manufacturing equipment and hand tools to meet prescription specifications and turnaround times.

The role is in a climate-controlled lab with a focus on safety, quality, and lean production. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications and instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools and grinding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team-oriented, production-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orthotics according to prescription specifications.
• Prepare, assemble, shape, and finish orthotic devices in Level 2 tasks.
• Maintain 6S workplace organization and lean production flow.
• Verify size, quantity and accuracy of components before processing.
• Operate and set up tools and machinery safely.
• Collaborate with team to meet turnaround times and quality standards.
