Job summary

Rockhill Orthopaedics in Missouri seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to support physicians in urgent care, performing evaluations, patient education, and exercise prescription.

You will manage bracing, cast/splint procedures, documentation, and coordinate post-operative recovery, with emphasis on patient outcomes and satisfaction. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; strong communication and multitasking in a busy clinic are expected.

Qualifications

• BOC certification and Missouri athletic training licensure required.
• Experience with casting, taping, inventory management and EMR is a plus.
• Clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history, initial evaluation, and documentation.
• Design and educate patients on home exercise protocols.
• Triage patient messages, phone calls, and questions.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and outcomes.
• Fit braces and crutches; manage DME equipment fitting.
