Rockhill Orthopaedics in Missouri seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to support physicians in urgent care, performing evaluations, patient education, and exercise prescription.
You will manage bracing, cast/splint procedures, documentation, and coordinate post-operative recovery, with emphasis on patient outcomes and satisfaction. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; strong communication and multitasking in a busy clinic are expected.

At Rockhill Orthopaedics, the Certified Athletic Trainer improves physician productivity, patient outcomes and satisfaction by effectively and efficiently helping our patients through the evaluation and treatment process. The athletic trainer will use their knowledge of a large range of medical problems by performing evaluations, providing instruction on exercise prescriptions, wellness protection, and general patient care education. This position will be primarily based in urgent care.
Typical Physical Demands – The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Work is medium demand. Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Medium strength is required to position patients for examination. Must be able to use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making necessary patient transfers and helping patients with walking, dressing, etc.

Work Hours – Full Time, Monday through Friday
Education – Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree preferred
Work Experience – Clinical experience is preferred. New graduates welcome, prefer 1 year experience. Experience in fitting braces, casting/taping, inventory management, and electronic medical record experience are all a plus.
