Job description

An orthopedic group in Martinsburg, West Virginia, has an opening for an Orthopedic-Trauma Surgeon due to community growth and demand (Fellow training in Orthopedic Trauma surgery is required).

Opportunity

• Need for 2 orthopedic trauma surgeons to work at a Level 3 Trauma Hospital
• The primary hospital has 195 beds; the secondary is a 25-bed critical care access facility (18 miles away)
• Call is less than 5 calls/night; rarely would you be required to come in for cases
• 1:3 call per month
• Subspecialty interest in total joint and shoulder is welcome
• Opportunity for Medical Director role
• Opportunity to teach IM Residents rotating through the program

Compensation/Benefits

• First-year guaranteed base salary commensurate with the MGMA median
• Productivity based on RVUs
• Guaranteed base salary + incentive (initial 2-year term)
