Job summary

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology (Required).
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management (Required).
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources (Required).
  • Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems (Required).
  • Ability to function in stressful, fast-paced environments (Required).
  • Ability to work independently within certification scope (Required).
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and professionalism (Required).
  • Strong English reading/writing/speaking for job requirements (Required).
  • Experience with computers required (Required).

Responsibilities

  • Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
  • Maintains education requirements and completes annual competencies and tests.
  • Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment, initiating testing, documenting results.
  • Provides whole care to patients during visits, including intake, results, and care gaps.
  • Maintains confidentiality of employees' and patients' information.
  • Supports staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Performs clinical intake including screenings, history, vitals, and med reconciliation.
  • Assists with minor procedures and ensures accurate documentation.
  • Educates patients about tests, medications, and diet with clear instructions.
  • Monitors inventory and maintains supplies and equipment.
