Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics team seeks a Sales Consultant for Foot and Ankle to support clients in the New Orleans, LA territory. The role focuses on advancing smarter, less invasive orthopedic solutions and providing value to surgeons and hospitals.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s or equivalent experience, with preference for those with surgical tech backgrounds or military service. It’s a field-based role requiring travel and strong clinical relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience OR
• Associates degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience OR
• Certified Surgical Technician + 6 yr. related experience such as F&A, Trauma, and/or Orthopedics OR
• Recently transitioned from Active Duty Military Experience

Responsibilities

• Acquire expertise of F&A portfolio and understand competitive products.
• Spearhead selling of F&A portfolio to new accounts and grow with existing customers.
• Educate surgeons and hospital staff on proper use of F&A portfolio.
• Establish and build clinical relationships with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators.
• Case Coverage: maintain surgeon/resident contact and support during surgical cases.
• Perform F&A field calls in territory and provide on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with Trauma partners to grow F&A business in geographies.
• Inventory Management: manage sales equipment and materials, ensure timely delivery.
• Achieve business plan objectives and sales quotas with approved resources.
• Complete administrative duties accurately and promptly.
• Accurately invoice customers for products.
