Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN Manager for Orthopedics to lead nursing operations in Commerce Township, Michigan. The role oversees NICU and Labor & Delivery units as described, promotes patient care excellence and operational efficiency.

You will report to nursing leadership, manage staffing and performance improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet hospital objectives.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred.
• RN licensed in Michigan.
• Three years of progressive nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes management responsibility for nursing operations in designated units.
• Directs staffing, performance improvement, and budget in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensures regulatory requirements and standards are communicated and monitored.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to plan and evaluate department objectives.
