Community health center seeking BE/BC Orthopaedists to join its practice in Warsaw, NY.
Full-service, County-owned health system located in Warsaw, NY. It includes a 62-bed acute-care hospital with an attached 138-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. The health system offers inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, acute, ambulatory, and behavioral health services. It is the only hospital in the county and the only comparable facility within a 35-mile radius. The Medical Group comprises 25 employed physicians across ten clinics providing primary and specialist services.
In the last 10 years, the Medical Group completed a $32M addition and renovation project, including a 12,000 sq ft addition housing the Emergency Department, Lobby, Patient Registration, Laboratory Draw Stations, Waiting and Pre-Admission Testing Area. Renovations also included the maternity floor, skilled nursing facility, ambulatory surgery unit, and other support departments.
Recently, the Medical Group has added new providers and developed a collaborative, friendly, rural healthcare environment. Providers include primary care, orthopedic, podiatry, cardiology, nephrology, OB-GYN, and general surgery. The group maintains a partnership with Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), a regional academic medical center with 573 beds, numerous outpatient services, and specialized centers for burn care, transplantation, oncology, and more. ECMC is Western New York's only Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and a major teaching facility for the University at Buffalo.
