Provider's Role: Orthopedic Surgeon
- Location: Knoxville, TN
- Focus on general orthopedics and arthroplasty, including lower extremity total joint replacements; other areas of focus are welcome.
- Supported by an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and a skilled staff team.
- Dedicated orthopedic operating room suite with specialized support at a modern hospital offering on-site services like cardiology and pulmonology, along with telehealth options such as intensivist and nephrology services.
- Hospital call is 12 days per month with flexible scheduling.
- Office call is shared with other institutions.
- The clinic is connected to the hospital and located next to a state-of-the-art physical therapy department.
- Expected to serve as a role model of professionalism, collaborating with all members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to form a high-performing team.
- Provides high-value care by demonstrating good stewardship of resources, limiting unnecessary testing and referrals, and considering risks, benefits, and patient preferences in decision-making.
- Documents all patient care activities clearly, concisely, accurately, and in sufficient detail in the electronic health record to ensure continuity and review of care.
