Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Group in Pueblo, CO seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedics team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care with a schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties.

All candidates must hold a Colorado PA or NP license (or compact), maintain board certification where applicable, and possess current BLS. EPIC EMR is used system-wide to document care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
• Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) required for hire and maintained.
• Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications.
• Eligible to provide services reimbursable with Medicare and Medicaid.
• No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA lists.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with privileges.
• Prescriptive authority as appropriate.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
