Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Orthopedics Specialty Practice in Massachusetts. You will coordinate patient flow, prepare patients for visits, escort to treatment rooms, and document information in the chart.

Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience is required.
• Knowledge of medical assisting principles as per an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• National Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms, and assists with patient preparation for examinations and minor procedures.
• Obtains patient history, documents vital signs, and acts as a scribe between patient and physician.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic results and ensures accurate documentation in patient records.
