Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Orthopedic department seeks a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative needs in an ambulatory setting. You will assist with patient check-in, vitals, and preparing patients for procedures, while coordinating radiology orders and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and experience with Epic-like systems; BLS/ CMA credentials are preferred. This onsite role is based at 52 Second Avenue with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• The MA role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification preferred; CMA certification preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 0-1 year preferred.
• Experience with Epic and hospital IT systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administrative support in ambulatory orthopedic settings.
• Obtain vital signs and assist with routine procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate patient flow, radiology orders, and related tasks.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation in patient records.
