Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics in South Philadelphia, PA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff. The role will require travel to our Center City Philadelphia office as needed for coverage. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM.

You will assist with clinical and administrative duties, prepare exam rooms, handle charting, injections, and patient flow while ensuring accuracy and compliance with OSHA and office policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology.
• Proficiency with MS Office and clinic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and escorts to exam room and directs to scheduling/checkout.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness, prepares equipment, and handles charting.
• Prepares injections, retrieves imaging and studies, and assists physicians.
