Premier Orthopedics-MVH in Dayton, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to support orthopedic care in a fast-paced clinic.

You will assist providers with patient care, intake, venipuncture, injections, EKGs, and related procedures, under supervision.

The role requires completing MA or LPN training, CPR within 3 months, EPIC EMR familiarity, and a commitment to high patient service.

High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
Medical Assistant applicants must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or will have obtained certification.
Licensed Practical Nurse applicants must have completed a practical nursing and pharmacology program and maintain current state licensure.
Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred.
Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.

Assist providers with patient care that includes order entry, reporting, phone calls, clerical, and organizational tasks.
Independently perform procedures such as venipuncture and injections as directed.
Assist with procedures like pulmonary function tests, EKGs, wound care, and imaging tasks as needed.
Assist provider(s) with minor surgical and medical procedures.
Support management and physicians by learning related center tasks.
Maintain high patient care and customer service standards.
