Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine and some advanced clinical support tasks within Medical Assistant scope
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills with patients and team
• Proficient computer skills including Windows navigation and email usage with EMR exposure

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and collecting health information
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions
• Assists physicians/APP with procedures such as pelvic exams and allergy testing
• Administers routine medications under orders or standing protocols
• Ensures proper care coordination and referrals as needed
• Maintains clear communication with health care team and patient for smooth clinic flow
• May perform basic clinical tasks under supervision according to competency
