Mercy Clinic Orthopedics, Southfork is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support providers in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting. You will room patients, take vital signs, prepare for exams, and assist with provider evaluations and procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with expected responsibilities including documentation, patient education, and front-office support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Responsabilités

• Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical and medication histories.
• Preparing patients for exams and assisting with provider evaluations and procedures.
• Performing basic diagnostic testing and documenting care.
• Reinforcing provider-directed patient education.
• Maintaining clean, well-stocked exam rooms and adhering to safety and infection-prevention standards.
• Assisting with scheduling tests, referrals, follow-ups, and supporting front-office operations.
• Participating in quality initiatives, staff meetings, and other MA-related duties.
