Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Medical Assistant for the DMC Sports Medicine & Orthopedics - Dearborn team. You will provide direct patient care, support physicians, and help maintain a safe clinical environment. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and follows standard office hours.

You will take vital signs, assist with procedures, manage charting, and coordinate referrals while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient comfort throughout the visit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a medical office under physician direction.
• Assist medical providers and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Take vital signs, review history, assess patient status, and document in medical records.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures and treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform basic lab testing.
• Maintain inventory and stock exam room supplies; ensure PPE compliance.
• Schedule appointments and assist with referrals and billing coordination.

Education
