Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification (WMA).
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• Minimum 2 years of high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment with discretion.
• 6 months working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under delegated supervision.
• Perform duties as directed to support clinicians and care teams.
• Act as an ambassador and mentor to other Medical Assistants.
• Demonstrate initiative and contribute to clinic quality and service improvements.
