Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is actively recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand for a full-time, on-site role in Hobart, IN. The physician will provide comprehensive care for the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, with a typical clinic volume of 30 patients daily and a 1:6 call rotation.

Strong emphasis on collaboration with athletic trainers and physical therapists, plus experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with arthroscopic techniques.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Collaborative with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and non-surgical hand/upper-extremity care.
• Clinic patients per day: 30.
• Call rotation: 1:6.
• Perform hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs and carpal tunnel decompression.
• Evaluate chronic conditions such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture.
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma with revascularization/replantation.
• Utilize minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joints.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joint procedures

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Demonstrated proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists
