Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Hobart, IN is seeking a Board-Certified or -Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hand to join our premier healthcare team. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule and a tech-forward environment with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

You will treat the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow, perform complex surgeries, and collaborate with athletic trainers and therapists to optimize patient outcomes. H-1B considered; MGMA-aligned compensation available.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Proficiency in arthroscopic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hand, wrist, forearm and elbow care.
• Clinic patients per day; manage heavy caseload.
• Perform hand and upper extremity surgeries including complex procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of chronic hand conditions.
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma including revascularization/replantation.
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques for wrist and small joints.

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, flexible work schedule
Location: Hobart, IN

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joint procedures

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Demonstrated proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists
