Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery.
• Indiana medical license or CSR/DEA eligibility.
• Experience with arthroscopic techniques and general orthopedic procedures.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong collaboration with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions.
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries (tendon repair, nerve decompression, fracture fixation, microvascular procedures)
• Assess chronic conditions (arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, congenital hand differences)
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma including revascularization and replantation when needed
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joints

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, flexible work schedule
Location: Hobart, IN

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joint procedures

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Demonstrated proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists
