Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and implementation of billing system conversions for new practices.
• Establishes practice site procedures to ensure efficient data input and billing.
• Develops and supervises the implementation of new uniform training programs for billing activities.
• Liaises with FPA Administrators, physicians and other parties to modify third party reimbursement.
• Coordinates capital equipment procurement and space allocation.
• Serves as liaison to Mount Sinai Health System leadership to ensure non-financial services are provided.
• Coordinates planning and implementation of contractual relationships with managed care organizations.
• Reviews and evaluates office support systems such as scheduling, telephone, dictation, medical records.
