Job summary

Revere Health in Utah is seeking a Medical Scribe with on-the-job training. You will maintain patient records, prepare exam rooms, and record notes in the EMR on behalf of physicians while delivering courteous patient service.

The role requires the ability to multi-task, professional image in clinic settings, and willingness to travel to outlying clinics as needed. Training supports physician collaboration and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older to apply.
• Typing speed of at least 60 wpm with accuracy.
• Proficiency on computers and basic software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, esp. Orthopedics, preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT is preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Begins patient notes prior to the office visit.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary technology.
• Maintains patient records and other information as requested by the physician.
• Records the office visits via electronic medical record system on behalf of physician.
• Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned. May travel to outlying clinics as needed.
