Job summary

Mountain Management Services, parent for CommonSpirit Medical Group - Orthopedics - Ringgold, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant Lead (CMA) to mentor staff and oversee front/back office operations.

You will perform preliminary physicals, measure vitals, greet patients, and support providers. The role requires leadership, clinical knowledge, and commitment to compassionate patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as CMA/CCMA/NHA/NCCT/NAHP/AMT required upon hire.
• At least 4 years Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS/CPR required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow.
• Handle medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respirations.
• May draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Administer medications and/or vaccines as ordered.
