Job summary

Stryker in Edison, NJ seeks a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide, gaining hands-on experience with Mako robotic and manual procedures, including pre-operative planning and in‑operating room support. You will train with CT-based planning, implant sizing, and intraoperative workflows, participate in labs and demonstrations, and build strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff.

This role requires adaptability, patient care focus, and willingness to work on-call hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with 4+ years of professional/related experience.
• High school diploma with 6+ years of professional/related experience.
• Fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning and implant sizing.
• Prepare cases including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Support daily account coordination, including inventory and logistics.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demos, cadaver labs, and education programs.
• Build relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
• Handle account administration and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners for seamless execution.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
