Job summary

Boulder Centre for Orthopedics in Boulder, CO is seeking a Full Scope X-Ray Technologist to support orthopedic imaging in an outpatient setting. The role emphasizes predictable Monday–Friday hours with no evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.

Responsibilities include radiologic procedures, fluoroscopy, patient positioning, and image quality control, with potential cross‑support in basic Medical Assistant tasks. ARRT certification and state license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Current students near graduation encouraged to apply.
• Contingent employment possible upon completion of requirements before start date.
• Must be eligible for ARRT registration and obtain full‑scope certification; state license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
• Protects patients, self, and staff from radiation hazards.
• Takes X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Positions patients for X-Ray procedures as requested by physicians.
• Creates digital radiologic images; checks images for clarity and retakes if needed.
• Uploads and manages X-rays in Medstrat.
• Maintains patient records, daily log books, and monthly reports.
• Performs quality control checks to ensure X-Ray unit meets standards.
