Job summary

OrthoVirginia Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our Stone Springs location. This full-time outpatient role performs diagnostic X-rays, collaborates with physicians and staff, and supports an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, involvement in diverse orthopedic cases, and emphasis on patient safety and image quality. Virginia license and ARRT certification required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or registry eligible.
• Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred; orthopedic/outpatient imaging experience a plus.
• New graduates who meet applicable certification and licensure requirements are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using imaging protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Produce accurate images within an appropriate timeframe to support diagnosis.
• Review images for technical quality, positioning, and orientation.
• Document digital images with correct patient information.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms for radiographic procedures.
• Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure radiographic equipment is safe and compliant with regulations.
• Collaborate with providers to support efficient patient flow and experience.
• Assist with additional clinical or operational needs as appropriate.
