Qualifications

• High school diploma required; temporary student radiography license in the applicable state.
• Active enrollment and good standing in an accredited radiography program with at least 50% completion.
• Endorsement by the program director with supervision at a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for radiologic procedures.
• Read patient charts and relay physician orders to staff.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment and perform static exams.
• Verify patient identity and demographic information with system records.
• Maintain radiographic fields accurately and adhere to safety standards.
• Maintain records in EHR and PACS systems; assist with imaging workflow.
• Follow department policies and adapt to changing schedules and needs.
