Job summary

SCA Health is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic X‑ray procedures, adjust equipment, and position patients for optimal images. You will deliver excellent patient service, uphold radiation safety, and work within our physician-led orthopedic network in Ohio.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image completion per protocols, maintaining equipment and logs, and ensuring a clean X‑ray room. AART and/or Ohio Radiography license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be AART and/or Ohio Radiography license.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and provides excellent service to all patients.
• Instructs patients on X-ray procedures and preparations, including protective lead shielding.
• Prepares patient for Xray, including helping on and off X-ray table, and ensures proper positioning.
• Completes X-rays, per protocols.
• Possesses knowledge of all applications and equipment.
• Obtains CD’s, films, records, reports and any other pertinent patient information for the provider.
• Maintains logs and other records pertaining to X-rays.
• Maintains a clean, organized and well-stocked X-ray room.
• Maintains high standards of radiation safety at all times.
