Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures across our orthopedic clinics. You will work in a fast-paced setting, ensuring high-quality images while protecting patients and staff from exposure.

Responsibilities include patient prep, position adjustments, and safe handling of equipment. This role requires ARRT certification, Tennessee X-ray license, and may involve travel to Nashville Church Street and Lebanon locations.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Prior orthopedic x-ray experience is preferred.
• C-Arm experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform satisfactory radiographic procedures as requested by physicians
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and produce quality radiographs
• Must be able to lift patients, and transport patients via wheelchair and stretcher
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanation of exams; answering patient questions
• Prepares patient for radiographic procedure by proper patient dressing/ undressing, proper positioning, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting controls to set exposure factors
• Minimizes radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposures

Connaissances

Formation

High school diploma

Certificate or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology

State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operators License

ARRT certified
