Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certificate or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology required.
• State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operators License required.
• ARRT certified; prior orthopedic x-ray experience preferred; C-Arm experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform satisfactory radiographic procedures as requested by physicians.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and produce quality radiographs.
• Must be able to lift patients and transport them via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Greet patients and explain exams to reduce anxiety and answer questions.
• Prepare patients for radiographic procedures with proper dressing, positioning, and equipment setup.
• Minimize radiation exposure using protective techniques and devices.
